Just a reminder that tonight we launch the Gindrinker single live in Dempsey's Cardiff at Twisted by Design.
The single is now also available to buy via our webshop, or as an mp3 download from our fellow business colleagues at Kimberley Records, along with copies of our first single from Spencer McGarry Season, and from our business accociate Sweet Baboo. Just follow the links on the left hand side.

That's right, it's a
long overdue BMR update. How've you been?
Big news first of all -
the second single on Businessman will be released on March 10th.
GINDRINKER are long-time favourites of
all of us, and one of the first decisions we took after deciding to do
this was that we'd release a single for them as soon as we could. That
single is the double A-sideWork It
Out/Ayn Rand Says, and it sounds amazing. You can hear the tunes
on the music player on our myspace
, and it'll be available to buy on 7"
through our webshop, through Spillers
Records
and at gigs, with MP3s following very
shortly.
There'll be a launch gig for the single on
Saturday 8th March, upstairs at
Dempseys; this will be in tandem with Twisted By Design
and £5.00 will get you into the gig and the full club
night till 2.00am. The mighty HECK will be supporting,
and we hope to add another band in the next day or two.
The
following night, Gindrinker will be supporting THE FALL
at The Point, which will be pretty special. To finish off the 'launch
weekend', as no-one's calling it, there will be an instore in Spillers at
5.00pm on Monday 10th March. Ace.
Catching up on other news,
the Businessman Records/Bethan Elfyn Introducing... night at Clwb last
month was great fun and the Talking Heads cover will live long in the
memory - cheers to Beth, Ed, all at Clwb and Plug 2 for all their help and
support. Gindrinker played a fine gig for Huw Stephens at the Social in
London, which will feature in the March issue of Plan B Magazine. And
Spencer McGarry Season's session for Radio Wales' Adam
Walton went out on Sunday February 24th at 10pm, so Listen
Again
if you
can.

Happy New Year to all our Business friends and associates! And many thanks to all those who attended our Christmas event.
Our first Business-related event of 2008! This brings together the ace faces responsible for the label's first two singles , and is the first in a new series of showcase gigs that Bethan Elfyn's Radio 1 in Wales show is putting on pre-Popscene on Wednesday nights at Clwb Ifor Bach.

Some or all of the Businessmen will also be brainstorming LIVE on the show, a quite fantastic business opportunity.
